...living with Multiple Personality Disorder is like living in a different world...

In October of 2010 Erin was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This blog is to record what is going inside Erin's mind. We don't know what all that will entail... But we are hoping that keeping a record of it will help in some manner. We also hope that maybe, just maybe, that we'll heal from whatever issues that we have and come out victorious.
All personalities or identities within Erin are invited to write here; each entry will be marked with who is writing.
If you are a survivor yourself, there are no trigger warnings on the entries... Please be careful as you navigate this blog. If you are a significant other of someone with DID/MPD, our hope is that this blog may be of some use to you, but please remember that every person with DID is very unique and must be considered as their own case.

Happy Birthday Morrigan & Jihan -- Tommi
Morrigan came back a little over a week ago (I think) and Yomi actually came back yesterday. Only Sader is missing now and I don't know when NightFall has her return planned.
In any case, here's a picture of the birthday twins.
If Nightfall does come back, at least it's now known that Ellie can keep her in check. I would not be surprised if the concept behind that ability continues to play a significant role in the future.
ReplyDeleteHas the storm in the Black Room quieted down yet?
I'm glad to hear that Morrigan and Yomi are back. Do they remember anything?
Hard times are certainly far from ideal, but such events also result in making one stronger from the experience.
Well, that's my 20 cents. Until next time.
It is not that NightFall is missing and is going to be coming back. NightFall is keeping Sader from coming back; sorry for not being a bit more clear on that. And Ellie's ability to "order" people about has already come into play with how our counselor is going about our therapy. Ellie is a bit louder about what she wants now, but she hasn't been abusing her new found power (Thank Goodness!).
ReplyDeleteAs I have said before, the storm in the Black Room dissipated a while back and has not come back.
Morrigan has recovered all her memories as far as she can tell and Yomi too has all of her memories, which isn't surprising since no one messed with them.
Our counselor is very optimistic as there has been much conversation to make sure we are all on the same page with the same goals. As long as we can manage to keep external factors calm, it should help keep inside calm.. Theoretically, though I'm personally optimistic about us finally getting organized and heading the same direction.
